NHBC Foundation has adopted DirectCMS for managing the content of www.nhbcfoundation.org. The foundation was set up by NHBC (National House-Building Council) in Partnership with BRE Trust to support research & development, technological advances and industry best practice. The facility to update a range of news and information about the house-building sector is therefore exceptionally useful.

DirectCMS, based on open source technology, is highly flexible and incorporates a range of exciting features. The system employs an easy-to-use WYSIWYG interface and involves no product licensing costs or software requirements. Furthermore, no specialised training is required to master DirectCMS and the system offers website administrators full control over those allowed to edit sections.
