BBI Brandboost recently tweeted and linked to the exciting Keepod story from BBC Click presenter Dan Simmons. We’d like to expand our thoughts and Snippets allow up to 140 words, which gives us a bit more scope that the 140 characters permitted on Twitter!

The Keepod USB Stick is being trialled in the Nairobi slums by two imaginative entrepreneurs. Each stick comes with a unique desktop version of Google’s 4.4 OS, making any laptop or PC as simple to use as a smartphone. Old hardware can spring to life, booting up directly from flash drives. This innovation promises to provide people in developing nations with a reliable, easy-to-use tool for education, communication and engagement. Glitzy high tech advances may be exciting but sometimes simple, low cost technology like this can really grasp the imagination!
