S.R.S. Flat Roof Supplies provides the flat roofing and construction trades with liquid applied membranes and roof coatings. Materials commonly supplied include Polyurethanes, GRP (fibreglass), resin acrylics, MS silicone and fibrated bitumen. To complete the roof systems, the company also stocks roof trims, profiles and associated tools. SRS additionally carries out product installation and application training, primarily undertaking roofing projects in London and the surrounding areas.
BBI Brandboost was briefed to design a new website for SRS and, after discussions with their team, it became apparent that a priority requirement was to provide an excellent UX for mobile users. Roofers typically spend their working day outside and away from desktop computers and use mobile devices to access the products and services they require. The existing site was slow to navigate and the content difficult to access. A complete restructuring was required.
BBI Brandboost designed and built the new SRS website using an off-the-shelf DNN CMS template which we customised for the specific requirements of the client and their customers. We ensured that a greatly improved mobile experience was delivered and carried out a range of procedures to deliver the highest quality of technical functionality. The attractive, mobile-friendly responsive web design was complemented by ease of navigation and logic in the web structure. Work on the SEO value of the website also formed an important part of this project.
We advised on new themes for the team at SRS to consider, and since they are based locally, we were able to work closely with them to make sure that we achieved exactly the right website design for them.
The website went live in January 2017 with the goal achieved of making life easier for our client's customers through ensuring that the new website was robust and mobile friendly. The easy to use DNN system also ensures that the website content can be changed and updated rapidly, so the SRS customers can have access to the latest product information and news to support their skilled work as roofers and achieve the optimum success in the projects they undertake.
