Understanding the DNN platform meant that BBI Brandboost could plan out exactly what content would be used for a series of tutorial videos. We had to show how the open source platform is flexible, rich in features and very easy to use.
We used our video editing tools to capture screen recordings and create some simple and easy to follow tutorials. The team felt that it was vital to narrate the processes shown on the screen, and so we recorded a voiceover for each video. The scripts were written as a collaboration between the DNN experts in DyNNamite and the copywriting team in BBI Brandboost.
To promote the videos we created a tutorials page on the website, posted them on YouTube and shared them across relevant social media channels.
We also catalogued and embedded the videos within a newly-built area on the DyNNamite website to make it easy for DNN administrators to bookmark one comprehensive source of DNN training videos.
