Gardner Denver is a worldwide provider of flow control technology providing engineered solutions for the Industrial, Energy and Medical sectors. Focusing on their customers’ biggest operational challenges, their solutions offer increased efficiency and lower energy expenditures.

As a global business, Gardner Denver required an Intranet (really and Extranet) for their staff as well as specific sections for their worldwide network of distributors. The distributors often require access to training on Gardner Denver's products and we were asked to develop, as part of the company’s Extranet, a training portal through which distributors could book and, crucially, pay for their training courses online.

The portal is of course password-protected and open only to registered distributors of Gardner Denver's products.

Due to our experience of working with Gardner Denver in the development of their Global Extranet the team at BBI Brandboost were in the right position to develop this bespoke on-line application.

The Work

Having worked with Gardner Denver for well over a decade, BBI Brandboost has an in-depth working knowledge of the company's IT infrastructure and online platforms.

In fact, we have been instrumental in the design and development of many aspects of Gardner Denver's internet-based technology including the global Intranet (Extranet) as well bespoke tools such as a ticketing and warranty system.

As a result, we were able to scope, design, build and integrate a training booking system with a payment gateway, using a bespoke solution which we developed specifically for Gardner Denver in consultation with its IT, Marketing and Training Management teams.

The Outcome

The training portal is live and it has achieved the goals that both Gardner Denver and its distributors wanted. Training can be booked and paid for online, making the whole process easier and more efficient for everyone concerned.

This in turn created a reliable and efficient way to boost communications, product and brand knowledge on an international scale and ensures that Gardner Denver products are maintained by fully trained engineers.
